Mrs Nicola Rawlings - Pre-School Teacher

Hello everyone! I'm Mrs Rawlings, I have been a teacher at Brooke Hill Academy for 3 years and have worked in lots of different year groups.  Before I moved to Brooke Hill I worked in a large infant school in Leicester. I have always loved working in Early Years and that's where I have spent most of my 15 years teaching so I am very happy to be in Pre-School this year.  Children learn best when they feel happy and relaxed and it's very important to me that all the children in Blossom class feel that Pre-School is one of their favourite places to be!

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have two boys aged 9 and 6 who are football mad and I love to watch them train and play in matches.  As a family we love to spend time together in Norfolk and going camping. I love films and enjoy crafting when I get the chance. 

I am so excited for the year ahead and for lots of fun times in Blossom Class!

Mrs Lowe Level 4 Nursey Practitioner

Hello Everyone, my name is Mrs Lowe and I have been working at Brooke Hill for 22 years! I have worked in every year group in school throughout my time here but EYFS has always been my favourite place to work. I am really excited to be back in Pre School this year and look forward to making lots of memories with the children. 

I have two children of my own, both of which have loved their journey through Brooke Hill. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog. We like to visit hot countries, camp in Norfolk and have recently taken up paddleboarding as a family.

Mrs Angela Peattie - Teaching Assistant

Hello I'm Mrs Peattie and I'm in my fifth year of working at Brooke Hill. I really enjoy working in early years particularly but have also worked in year 1.  I love helping children to progress and reach their potential and I would describe myself as a very nurturing person.  I was previously a registered nurse before working in education.  

I have a son who is 11 and a grown-up step-daughter. I adore travel and am lucky to have visited some incredible places: Australia, USA, New Zealand and many countries in Europe. There is still lots of travelling I wish to do!! In my spare time I love cooking and baking, gardening, walking, skiing, reading and spending time with friends and family .

I am looking forwarding to helping the children in pre-school to feel confident, settled and ready to learn.

Mrs Lottie Gur Teaching Assistant

Hello everyone! My name is Mrs Gur. I have worked at Brooke Hill Academy for four and a half years. I started as a volunteer as before working in both Pre-school and reception. I really enjoy working in Early Years and helping children to progress and settle into school life. The safety of the children and helping them to happy and confident is my priority.

When I am not at school, I love cooking and baking and I especially love Turkish cuisine. I love crafting and sewing. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. I have two daughters aged 19 and 11.

They also studied at Brooke Hill Academy.

I am looking forward to the year ahead with the children in pre-school.
